The Platycerium grows against trees in Africa, Asia and Australia, but it will also do just fine in a pot as it is reasonably tolerant of the dry air in centrally heated houses. Water in the cavity behind the curved leaves and allow the soil to dry out slightly before watering again. This plant likes a light spot, but not in direct sunshine.
