  • Name - Ficus is Latin for fig, pronounced FIY-cuss. Lyrata means lyre-shaped. Its common name is fiddle-leafed fig.
  • Description - A lovely fig with large glossy green prominently-veined leaves usually on one stem, though the plant can be encouraged to divide by taking out the top of the growing stem.
  • Origin - Tropics and subtropics
  • Family - Moraceae (mulberry family)
  • Care Tips - Medium light, warm room temperatures and do not overwater. Feed every two weeks only in the growing period. Wipe the leaves very gently from time to time to keep them dust free.
