  • Name - Also known as Dracaena reflexa. The plant is sometimes called the dragon's blood tree due to a sticky sap which trickles from a cut in one variety. Common name is dragon tree or song of India.
  • Description - Lemon and lime striped short strappy leaves which can grow to 15cm in length. A mature plant can reach 1m in height.
  • Origin - Native of tropical west Africa and common in the Canary Islands.
  • Care Tips - Keep slightly moist but avoid sogginess. Mist often. In growing season feed every 14 days. Likes bright light but not full sun. Temperature 18°C-25°C. Peel off lower leaves as they die - leaving a trunk.
