             Woodland Walk

White glass shows off the richness of autumn flowers
and foliage. Flat pink sedum flowerheads contrast shapes with plump
globes of deep red dahlias and the papery petals of hydrangea in
subtle shades. The vibrant range of hues is offset by the wiggly
green leaves of oak, and stark twigs to reinforce the woodland feel.

[inset] This shows the texture contrasts more
closely, the fringed edges of sedum contrasting with the smooth
glowing red oak leaves and glossy hypericum berries. Photinia "Red
Robin" or Cotinus leaves would also add a burgundy red glow
              to a bouquet.
